Technology in Math
This article was about how technology in math can increase student understanding. It said teachers can create how-to videos with certain apps. I think that would be a good idea to post how-to videos for student's parents to be able to look at if they are having trouble helping them with their homework. If a student missed a class or did not fully understand in class, the video may be helpful.
I never thought about using videos to help in math so I thought that was an interesting idea. The article mentioned a few apps that could be helpful in math. I had never heard of any of these apps. I actually downloaded one called Number Line. It shows you any kind of number line you want and you can edit it. I thought this app was super cool and I launched it on Chrome which was super easy. Without this article, I may have never learned about that app. I plan on using that app and hopefully a few more from the article in the classroom. I really want to explore the number line app and see what all you can do in it.
